BRAND NEW BIG BOY PAGE!!

Braelyn had another site, but we found that it was difficult to keep the hackers off! People with no hearts were trying to post things on our other site that were just plain despicable!! So here we are on blogspot hoping to find better security and a chance to allow others to continue following his story.

Braelyn is now 22 months actual and is doing really really good. We still have some serious issues with eating by mouth and he is receiving most of his nutritional needs through his G-tube. I have a link to his other page so that if you would like to start at the beginning you can. He is now completely off of Oxygen and all medications. He has graduated to WALKING..(YEA) and is now 3 weeks along in using two feet instead of all fours!! He is a very happy little boy, whose strength comes into play almost every day. He is enrolled full time at a school that is designed to "catch him up" It is a speciality school which provides him with extensive PT, OT and speech therapy. We went through a very rocky period but who could blam Braelyn for acting out. I work days and Braelyn's Mommy works nights, so for the first 22 months we were always there. Waking up one morning and being handed over to strangers was quite the adjustment for him. As usual he perservered and is now enjoying his "New Found Friends" The pic is Braelyn today and as you can tell by the smile, he's a "Ham for the camera!!" The link to Braelyn's other story is:

Enjoy our story and remember to have Faith..MIRACLES DO HAPPEN

HUGS GRANNY

Braelyn Makhi Tucker was born via emergency C-Section on November 5, 2007. At only 25 weeks doctors in Memphis gave him a 0% chance at survival, in or out of the womb. Determined to give him a chance, the family went to Little Rock where he was brought into the world weighing a mere 12.5 ounces. Despite the odds Braelyn has indeed survived and his story is proof that miracles can happen, and to never give up hope. This site was created to share his story with everyone, and to offer hope to parents who may be experiencing the same joy, heartache & emotional rollercoaster of having a preemie baby. Thank you all for your support and prayers!
